چکیده
Vibration and noise must be considered to maximize the efficiency of a yaw system reduce fatigue load acting on wind turbine. This study investigated method for analyzing yaw-system vibration based change in load-duration distribution (LDD). A substructure synthesis was combined with planetary gear train rotational model finite element models housing carriers. For excitation sources, mass imbalance, mesh frequency, bearing defect frequency were considered, critical speed analysis performed. The results showed that did not occur within operating range, but occurred first-stage system. It found stiffness first natural increased LDD load. In addition, no range under any loads. Because rolling changed LDD, it necessary consider when turbine vibration.

Effects of Yaw Error on Wind Turbine Running Characteristics Based on the Equivalent Wind Speed Model
Natural wind is stochastic, being characterized by its speed and direction which change randomly and frequently. Because of the certain lag in control systems and the yaw body itself, wind turbines cannot be accurately aligned toward the wind direction when the wind speed and wind direction change frequently. Thus, wind turbines often suffer from a series of engineering issues during operation,...

Because offshore wind turbines are high-rise structures, they transfer large horizontal loads and moments to their foundations. One of the keys to designing a foundation is determining the sensitivities and laws affecting its load-bearing capacity. In this study, this procedure was carried out for a new high-rise cap pile group foundation adapted to the loading characteristics of offshore wind ...
متن کاملNonlinear speed and yaw control for wind turbine powered vessels
The application of conventional wind turbines on board a vessel creates a number of new challenges for turbine control systems. Thrust force is used in marine applications as an additional control variable for propulsion of the vessel. Variability of the wind speed and wind direction, together with the yaw rate and range constraints, impose strong requirements on the turbine control system. A n...
متن کاملEvaluation of Turbulence on the Dynamics of Monopile Offshore Wind Turbine under the Wave and Wind Excitations
In recent years, the use of offshore wind turbines has been considered on the agenda of the countries which have a significant maritime boundary due to more speed and stability of wind at sea. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of wind turbulence on the aero-hydrodynamic behavior of offshore wind turbines with a monopile platform. Since in the sea, the wind turbine structures ar...
